Making appointments is easy and we often have on the day appointments available for when your pet is unwell or injured. Just phone our receptionists at the branch you want to visit and they will do their best to accommodate you.

Hopefully you won’t need to use our emergency service, but if you do, you can be reassured knowing that we have Veterinary Surgeons and Nurses available 24 hours a day at our Hospital in Newbury.

If your new pet is a rescue animal, they are entitled to a free health check with a Vet. It’s important your new family member has the best start to their new life.

Welcome to Donnington Grove! On your first visit to us we will need some details to create your pet's medical record. This can be done either online or when you arrive for your first visit. For online, please click on the "New Patient Registration Form" button below. Your completed form can be submitted electronically directly, emailed to our office or you can print and bring the form when you come for your visit. Of course, we will never share your information with any third parties. If you have any questions regarding the forms or your first appointment please call us on 01635 47170.


Most of the medications (including flea and worm treatments) we sell are Veterinary Prescription Only Medications (POM-V). These can legally only be dispensed to an animal that is under our care. The animal must have been to the surgery for a consultation within the last 6 months in order for us to dispense therapeutic medications, and within 12 months for flea and worm treatment. Medication must be ordered before collection. Please phone your preferred clinic, or use our online order form below


Payment should be made at time of treatment, by cash, cheque or card. You can also use our online payment facility by clicking the button below. To use this online service, you must have a valid invoice number or practice account number. If you do not have a valid invoice number please either call us or email


We understand that the thought of your pet undergoing an anaesthetic and surgery is a worry. We are here to help you and your pet though this time. Our high level of training and expansive  experience is reflected in our surgical success stories. Many pets require clinical diets to aid in managing or treating a medical condition. We can order in a wide range of diets to suit your pets requirements. We can also supply Lifestage diets to suit your growing puppy or aging cat. We will have your order ready for collection at any of our branches on the next working day if you order before 5pm Monday - Friday.
