Feline Vaccination Shortage

If it’s time for your cat's annual health check and vaccination please read the following information carefully

Unfortunately, there is a nationwide shortage of cat vaccines and we are currently not able to book your cat’s booster in. This is a situation that is being constantly monitored and we are in close contact with the vaccine manufacturers who will communicate with us when we are able to resume cat vaccinations. For now, our stocks are being prioritised for kittens.

We know this may be a worry for some of you and we want to reassure you that it is known that being up to 3 months overdue is unlikely to put your cat at risk of the diseases we vaccinate against. We are also aware that the annual booster is also the opportunity for your cat to have a head-to-tail health check, we would advise that if you have any concerns about your pet, that you give us a call to make an appointment.

We will be in touch when we are able to book your cat in for their booster. However, please contact us if your cat is getting close to 3 months past its due date.

Thank you for your ongoing patience and understanding.

We are looking forward to seeing you soon,

Donnington Grove Vets
